Next week, I’m a Cliché will release Entertainment’s first EP.
They’re a Parisian duo featuring bass player Juan de Guillebon (also part of the Ectoplasmic Joakim backing band) and guitarist Antoine Montgaudon (also member of My Sister Klaus on Tigersushi label).
Juan knows a lot about Jaco Pastorius, but decided not to spend the rest of his life playing in jazz rock combos. You may guess his attraction to No Wave bands (Suicide or James Chance), Krautrock (his faves are Cluster), or EBM and early electro (DAF).
Antoine would have fit perfectly in any Brian Eno’s late 70’s recording. He builds endless psychedelic atmospheres with feedbacks, loops and FXs. All this only with his guitar.
«U 1988 E.P» was produced by Bot’Ox and features 5 original tracks like the ones on the link below + 3 Kruton, Bot’Ox and Michoacan remixes.
